Henry Maloba leads Grameen Foundation’s Mobile Financial Services Accelerator in Uganda. Before joining Grameen Foundation, he was Country Corporate Manager for Airtel Money in Kenya. Henry brings more than 13 years of expertise in the publishing, consultancy, banking and telecommunication industries. He launched the first global micro-loan product dubbed 'Kopa Chapaa' delivered through the mobile-money wallet and was also part of the team that developed Airtel OnLine Pay, which is touted as the world's first virtual card that operates from a wallet residing on a mobile phone. He is currently pursuing his MBA at Kenya Methodist University and received executive education training in evaluating social programs from the J-PAL program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He recently received a Certified International Project Manager certification and is also a member of Project Management Institute and Fellow of American Academy of Project Management.
