Business Development and Marketing Manager
The BD&M Manager will have two main responsibilities. The Manager's first responsibility is to secure partnerships with Telecommunications Operator, Banks, and Consumer Goods Companies. The Manager will interact directly with C-level executives and middle managers from these companies to obtain these deals. Examples of deals include but are not limited to distribution, content creation, advertising, consulting services, and pilot programs for new business lines.
His/her second responsibility is to manage the Product Management team of Ruma. Ruma works closely with Grameen Foundation's Applab to develop mobile applications for underserved communities. The Product Management team coordinates the pilot, launch, and subsequent marketing efforts required for all of Ruma's products.
The ideal candidate for the position would be someone with at least 10 years of experience in product management for a technology company. Experience securing and managing partnerships with external stakeholders required. This is not a sales position and prior sales experience is not required.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in Managing a Sales and Distribution network for a consumer product/finance company
- Prior experience managing a sales team of over 100+ staff
- Fluent in both English and Bahasa
- Undergraduate degree from top international institution
- MBA from a top business school is a plus
- Experience working with cellular products a plus
