IT Internship
Reporting and Relationships: The Intern will report to the Director of Operations & IT
Availability: The term of the position is three months, June through August, with flexibility for school schedules for start and end dates. The intern is expected to work a minimum of 37.5 hours per weeks, plus additional hours as necessary to complete his/her projects.
Essential Job Functions:
Develop technology and strategy assessment tools for MFIs
Refine MIS Toolkit including creating training materials, and refining existing materials
Designing performance measurement frameworks and reporting dashboards
Inventorying and summarizing knowledge bases for content and relevancy prior to technology migration to Share Point
Executing numerous technology and knowledge management research projects including leading practices, best processes as well as specific technical solutions
Developing self contained tools/modules around IT Strategy and Business Process Management
Organizational process mapping
Creating Partner technology information classification and summary schemes
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good communication skills(verbal and written); outgoing and articulate
Self starter and organized to schedule and manage multiple activities in the same timeline
Experience with Microsoft Office applications and general knowledge of Microsoft Operating System
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work independently
Education Preferences: Candidates would have or be working towards completion of a BA/BS or MS degree in field.
