2008 Nobel Peace Prize Forum
Concordia College is pleased to host the 20th Annual Nobel Peace Prize Forum, “Striving for Peace: Investing in Community,” honoring the work of Muhammad Yunus, founder of the Grameen Bank and 2006 Nobel Laureate. Other plenary speakers include Greg Mortenson and Jeffrey Sachs.

Social Business and Microeconomic Opportunities for Youth Conference
Join Prof. Yunus, founder of Grameen Bank, Nobel Laureate and founding board member of Grameen Foundation, to discuss how businesses can enlarge their missions to solve social problems. The conference builds on the release of his groundbreaking book, "Creating a World Without Poverty: Social Business and the Future of Capitalism." Alex Counts, President of Grameen Foundation, will give the closing address.
