Your funding of a scholarship enables a child to attend public school for five years. Education can be the key to breaking the cycle of poverty. Yet, in many countries, public school requires fees for books and uniforms that many poor families simply cannot afford. You can help children break through poverty with a gift to the Grameen Foundation Education Scholarship Program. The program supports the Grameen Shikkha education program in Bangladesh. Your gift will fund microloans, and the interest from the loans pays for a child’s public schooling. So far, 1,000 children have benefited. You will receive an annual progress
report of the child(ren) you support.
