October 12 Grameen Foundation benefit in New York City

Grameen Foundation and Sing for Hope are hosting a fundraiser to benefit the Grameen Foundation Scholarship Program. Sing for Hope, co-directed by Monica Yunus and Camille Zamora, connects world-class performing artists to vital humanitarian causes.
Twenty-five exciting young artists from the Metropolitan Opera, New York Opera and Los Angeles Opera including internationally acclaimed soprano Monica Yunus will be donating their time and their voices for the benefit.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus, microcredit pioneer and 2006 Nobel Peace Laureate will be the evening’s featured guest and will address the audience. The evening is also a chance to celebrate the one year anniversary of his Nobel Peace Prize announcement.
