Do More to Fight Poverty

  • Send free e-cards. Share a revealing story of how microfinance helped a women move her family away from severe poverty.
  • Write a letter to the editor. Download a sample letter to the editor (Word format). By submitting letters to the editors of local newspapers, supporters can encourage others to fight poverty.
  • Submit a newsletter article to your company, club, school, neighborhood, or religious newsletter about poverty.
  • Write a letter to the business section of your local paper and encourage them to write about this topic
  • Contact your local chamber of commerce and encourage them to educate local business leaders
  • Contact the board of directors of any company in which you are a share holder
  • Organize a brownbag at your office or local community center
  • Contact your university and ask them to offer coursework on the social business model
